Role Description for Compliance Manger

• Responsibility for all Compliance matters regarding the corporate banking business line, inHong Kong.
• Responsibility for interaction with relevant regulatory bodies as to changes in guidelines, internal audits and on site inspections.
• Periodic review of existing policies and frameworks with improvement reporting to Senior Management.
• Development and delivery of internal training programmes to enhance knowledge and Compliance culture within the organisation.

Requirements for Compliance Manager

• Demonstrable experience in a compliance function, with exposure to the Trade Finance environment highly advantageous.
• A developed network within the HKMA is preferable with experience of dealing with the HKMA essential.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment with knowledge of HK regulations and bodies preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to operate in an international environment is key. Ideally you will have familiarity with US company laws and regulations.
• Experience of identifying and implementing positive change regarding Compliance awareness and culture highly beneficial.
